Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains transparently what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
30-Second Summary
📌 We never sell your data to any third party. Ever.
📌 We collect the bare minimum needed to run the website and deliver our services.
📌 We use standard cookies to improve your experience (you can disable them in your browser).
📌 You have the full right to request, edit, or delete your data at any time.
Section 1Introduction
Welcome to Tooliqo. We take your privacy seriously, and we believe every user has the right to know exactly what happens with their data — clearly and without hidden fine print.
This policy applies to all visitors and users of:
- Our website Tooliqo (the blog and all sub-pages)
- The contact form available on the website
- Our stores on third-party marketplaces (Etsy, Ko-fi, Gumroad, Khamsat, Kafiil)
- Our official social media accounts
By using the website, you agree to the privacy practices described here. If you do not agree with any clause, please refrain from using the website.
Section 2Data We Collect
Important note: The Tooliqo website is hosted on Blogger, a platform owned by Google. As a result, Google is the entity that actually collects and stores most visitor data (IP address, cookies, browsing data, etc.), and we do not have direct access to this data.
📥 Data Google/Blogger Collects Automatically
When you visit the website, Google and the Blogger platform collect some basic technical data:
- IP address — used by Google for analytics and security purposes
- Browser type and operating system — to improve platform compatibility
- Pages visited and visit duration — for Blogger and Google Analytics statistics
- Referrer source — to analyze traffic channels
- Approximate geographic location (country level only)
This data is stored on Google servers and is subject to Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
✍️ Data You Voluntarily Provide (and Sent Directly to Us)
The only data we receive directly is what you choose to send when you reach out to us:
- Via the contact form: your name, email, subject, and message (delivered to our inbox)
- Via comments: managed by Blogger/Google, but we can view and moderate them
- Via selling platforms: your data is managed by the platform (Etsy, Gumroad, etc.) according to its own policies
What we never collect (neither us nor Google through us): your credit card numbers, passwords, ID numbers, or any sensitive data. All financial transactions are processed through trusted payment platforms.
Section 3How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect only for the following legitimate purposes:
- Running the website and making sure it works as expected across all devices
- Improving the user experience by analyzing which pages and content are most useful
- Replying to your inquiries and messages sent through the contact form
- Sending optional updates (only if you subscribed to the newsletter — you can unsubscribe anytime)
- Security protection against hacking attempts, spam, and policy violations
- Legal compliance when required by competent authorities under applicable law
We will never use your data for third-party marketing purposes, or to send messages you didn't ask for.
Section 4Cookies
Cookies are small files saved by your browser to speed up your experience on the website. We use two main types:
🍪 Essential Cookies
These enable the website to function properly — for example, by remembering your language preference or light/dark mode setting. They cannot be disabled without breaking some features.
📊 Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the website (most visited pages, session duration, etc.). The data is collected anonymously and is not linked to you personally.
Managing cookies: You can disable cookies entirely from your browser settings, or delete them manually at any time. Note that doing so may affect some site features.
Section 5Third-Party Services
The website relies on a few trusted external services for specific functions. Each has its own independent privacy policy:
Google Analytics
Visitor statistics and analysis
Blogger
Website hosting platform
FormSubmit
Contact form processing
Etsy
Digital product marketplace
Ko-fi
Sales and support platform
Gumroad
Digital product marketplace
Khamsat
Micro-services marketplace
Kafiil
Professional services platform
When you visit any of the platforms above through our links, your data becomes subject to that platform's privacy policy. We are not responsible for their practices.
Section 6Data Sharing
The golden rule: we do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes. Period.
The only limited exceptions where data may be shared are:
- Trusted service providers (such as Google Analytics), under contracts that ensure data confidentiality
- Legal obligations when a competent authority requires it via an official order
- Protection of rights in cases of fraud or violation of the terms of use
- With your explicit consent when we ask for your prior permission to share specific data
Section 7Your Legal Rights
Important legal note: Since our website is hosted on Blogger / Google, Google is the actual Data Controller in most cases. Your rights therefore split into two categories: rights you can exercise toward Google, and the more limited rights you can exercise toward us.
🔵 First: Your rights toward Google (for most data)
For data that Google collects automatically (IP, cookies, browsing statistics, Analytics, etc.), you can exercise all your rights directly through Google's official tools:
- Manage your account and privacy: myaccount.google.com/privacy
- Access and download your data: Google Takeout
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Manage cookies: through your browser settings or Google's cookies policy
- Google Privacy Center: policies.google.com/privacy
🟢 Second: Your rights toward Tooliqo (for the limited data we receive)
The only data we hold directly is what you voluntarily provided to us, namely:
- Contact form messages delivered to our inbox
- Email replies exchanged with you
- Contact details kept for a project or a custom service
For this data specifically, you have the following rights:
Right of Access
Request a copy of your messages and data we hold.
Right to Rectify
Ask us to correct any inaccurate data in our exchanges.
Right to Erasure
Ask us to permanently delete your messages from our inbox.
Right to Object
Object to any use of your data you have not agreed to.
To exercise any of these rights (the ones that concern us), email us at: tooliqo@outlook.com — we will reply and process your request within a maximum of 30 days.
We cannot fulfill requests related to data Google collects automatically, because we simply do not have access to it. For any such request, please use the Google tools listed above.
Section 8Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure:
- Encrypted connection (HTTPS/SSL) on every page of the website
- Restricted access to data — only one person (the founder)
- Trusted platforms (Google, Etsy, Gumroad, etc.) handle all sensitive data processing
- Regular reviews of our security measures to keep up with modern practices
Despite these measures, no online service can guarantee 100% absolute security. We therefore always recommend not sharing sensitive personal data through the contact form or comments.
Section 9Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:
- Contact form messages: kept for one year from the date sent, then deleted
- Newsletter subscription data: kept until you unsubscribe
- Blog comments: remain for the lifetime of the blog; you may request deletion at any time
- Google Analytics data: subject to Google's policy (typically 14–26 months)
Section 10Children's Privacy
The website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from this age group.
If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has submitted personal data to us without your consent, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
Section 11Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable laws. When a material update happens:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page
- We will publish a clear notice on the homepage for at least 14 days
- We will email newsletter subscribers about any key changes
Your continued use of the website after the updates take effect constitutes implicit acceptance of the new policy.
Section 12Contact Us
For any question, comment, or request related to this policy, or to our data handling practices, feel free to reach out via:
- Email: tooliqo@outlook.com
- Contact form: Contact Us page
Have a question about your data?
Whether you want to know what we hold about you, modify it, or have it deleted — drop us a line and we'll reply within 30 days at most.
